Compassionate, confidential therapy for women and couples navigating intimacy, relationships, and wellbeing — rooted in clinical expertise and cultural sensitivity.
Specialist therapy in a warm, non-judgemental space — online, in English and Arabic.
My practice is a specialist space for those who may have felt unseen or unheard elsewhere. Whatever your background, faith, or walk of life — you belong here.
Women of all backgrounds, cultures, and faiths seeking support with sexual health, relationships, identity, or emotional wellbeing.
Partners finding their way through relationship difficulties — whether that is emotional distance, communication breakdown, or rebuilding trust and closeness.
My deepest hope is that every woman leaves therapy feeling more at home in herself — reclaiming her body, reconnecting to it, and learning to understand what it is communicating.
I want to be the space where a woman can arrive exactly as she is, and leave knowing herself a little more.
I work with couples who are finding their way through relationship difficulties — whether that is a breakdown in communication, emotional distance, or the strain that external pressures can place on a partnership. Together, we work to rebuild understanding, closeness, and trust.
Because when two people find their way back to each other, that doesn't just change their lives — it shapes their children, their families, and the world those children will grow up to create.
I am a psychosexual and relationship therapist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health, a proud member of COSRT, and more than six years of experience in the mental health field.
Having lived across the Middle East and the UK, I bring genuine cross-cultural understanding to my practice — meeting every client exactly where they are.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can see if we're a good fit — no obligation, completely confidential.
Psychosexual & Relationship Therapist · MSc Clinical Psychology & Mental Health · Member of COSRT
"I believe that every person deserves a space where they feel truly seen — without judgement, without shame."
My name is Maram, and I am a psychosexual and relationship therapist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health, and a proud member of COSRT — the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists. But beyond the qualifications, I am someone who genuinely cares — about the people who sit across from me, about the communities I serve, and about breaking down the silence that surrounds so many of the struggles my clients carry.
I didn't find this work by chance. I chose it because I saw a gap — in my community, in the conversation, in the support available to women and couples who were suffering quietly in an area of life that so few therapists are trained to address. I wanted to change that.
Having lived across the Middle East and the UK, I have moved through different cultures, languages, and ways of understanding the world. That journey has made me who I am — deeply acculturated, genuinely curious about people, and committed to meeting every client exactly where they are, whatever their background, faith, or walk of life.
Before specialising, I worked with the Muslim community, supporting women through a range of mental health challenges. It was here that I learned something I have never forgotten — that you cannot separate a person's mental health from their culture, their faith, or their sense of belonging.
I then spent two years working within the NHS, before taking the step that felt most true to my values — setting up my own private practice, where I could offer the kind of care I had always believed people deserved.
Over more than six years in the mental health field, I have worked with women and couples across a wide range of deeply personal concerns.
Low libido and concerns around desire, sexual pain conditions (including vaginismus and dyspareunia), difficulties with arousal or orgasm, sexual anxiety, body disconnection and reclaiming intimacy with yourself, intimacy after childbirth or illness, the impact of pornography use, survivors of sexual, emotional, or verbal abuse, body image difficulties, and psychosomatic symptoms — particularly where these are rooted in or worsened by relationship or psychosexual stress.
Communication breakdown, emotional distance, rebuilding trust and closeness after betrayal, the strain of external pressures on a partnership, navigating intercultural dynamics, and working through emotional or verbal abuse within the relationship — whether you are currently experiencing it or navigating its aftermath.
I work with those experiencing current emotional or verbal abuse, as well as the aftermath of physical abuse. If you are currently in a physically abusive situation, I will always ensure you are gently guided to the right specialist support — you will never be turned away without care.
My deepest hope for the women I work with is that they leave therapy feeling more at home in themselves — reclaiming their bodies, reconnecting to them, and learning to understand what they are communicating. I want to be the space where a woman can arrive exactly as she is, and leave knowing herself a little more.
For the couples I work with, I hold a firm belief that a loving, functioning relationship is one of the most powerful forces in the world.
I work integratively, drawing on attachment theory, person-centred principles, and evidence-based psychosexual approaches. I follow your lead — creating a space that is warm, unhurried, and completely free of judgement. Sessions are available in both English and Arabic.
You lead the way. Sessions are shaped around your unique needs, goals, and pace — always.
Understanding how early bonds shape your relationships and experience of intimacy today.
Therapy that truly honours your culture, faith, and lived experience — never generic, always personal.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation — no obligation, complete confidentiality.
A warm, confidential space to explore the most intimate parts of your life — without shame, without judgement, and without having to explain yourself before the work even begins.
So many women carry their struggles in silence — particularly around their bodies, their sexuality, and their relationships.
My deepest hope for the women I work with is that they leave therapy feeling more at home in themselves — reclaiming their bodies, reconnecting to them, and learning to understand what they are communicating.
I offer sessions in both English and Arabic, and I bring a lived understanding of diverse cultural and faith contexts to every session.
Exploring concerns around low or mismatched desire, loss of interest in intimacy, and what might be influencing how you feel.
Supporting women experiencing vaginismus, dyspareunia, or other forms of pain during or around intimacy — compassionately and at your pace.
Working through difficulties with arousal, orgasm, or sexual anxiety in a safe, non-judgemental space.
Helping you reconnect with your body, understand what it is communicating, and reclaim a sense of ownership and ease in yourself.
Supporting women navigating changes to intimacy, identity, and desire following pregnancy, childbirth, or illness.
Exploring the impact of pornography on your self-image, relationships, and intimacy — without shame or judgement.
Compassionate support for survivors of sexual, emotional, or verbal abuse — working at a pace that always feels safe for you.
Depression, anxiety, eating disorders, body image difficulties, and psychosomatic symptoms — particularly where these connect to relationship or psychosexual stress.
Navigating sexuality, relationships, and wellbeing within a cultural or faith context — with full respect for your values and beliefs.
Every person's path is different. Here is how working together typically unfolds.
We start with a no-obligation conversation to explore whether we're a good fit. There's no pressure — just a chance to talk and ask questions.
In our early sessions, we take time to understand your history, your concerns, and what you are hoping to work towards together.
Sessions are weekly or fortnightly, online. A typical individual journey is around 8 sessions, though this always depends on your needs and goals.
For psychosexual work in particular, what happens between sessions matters just as much as the sessions themselves. I may suggest exercises or reflections — always evidence-based, always designed with your values and faith in mind.

Finding your way back to each other — through communication, trust, and a deeper understanding of what you both need.
Every relationship goes through difficult chapters. Whether you are navigating conflict, distance, or a loss of closeness, coming to therapy together is an act of courage — and a powerful first step.

When work stress, family dynamics, financial strain, or life transitions place a heavy weight on your relationship.

Couples therapy is a collaborative process. Here is how it typically unfolds.
Either one or both of you can join the initial consultation. It's a chance to ask questions and see if working together feels right.
We typically begin with a joint session, and I may also meet with each of you individually early on. This gives everyone a space to share openly.
Sessions are weekly or fortnightly, online. Couples work typically spans around 16 sessions, though this always depends on where you are and what you are working towards.
I may suggest exercises or reflections to try between sessions. These are always evidence-based, designed with your values in mind — and they genuinely make a difference to the progress you experience together.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation — a chance to talk, ask questions, and explore whether working together feels right.
